VOLVO Car UK have assigned Steve Beattie as their new Head of Business Sales with immediate effect.
He will hold responsibility for overseeing all of the company’s UK fleet and corporate sales. This comes as Volvo aims to continue their recent spout of growth.
Steve has spent 12 years at Vauxhall and with his move to Sweden’s Volvo, he brings with him a mount of success and experience within the automotive industry. In his most recent role, he held the position of Vauxhall’s national contract hire and leasing manager.
Volvo UK have delivered their most successful full-year sales result in 25 years. With the recent launch of the XC60 model, the soon to be released XC40 small SUV, and the very popular V40 hatchback- the company believe that they will hit targets of 60,000 by 2020.
Beattie commented: “I’m thrilled to be joining Volvo and taking charge of the Business Sales department. With such a fantastic range of stunning cars with technological advancements, Volvo is an ever-changing brand and I’m excited for the future.”
