VAUXHALL Motors has just appointed McCann Velocity, part of McCann Worldgroup, to oversee its customer relationship management, point of sale, print, aftersales and retail marketing.
McCann Velocity will take over from Graymatter, which previously held the position, bringing a team of marketing specialists to manage Vauxhall’s fleet business.
Established in 1903, Vauxhall Motors has become the largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in Britain, introducing popular vehicles such as the Corsa, Astra and Insignia Grand Sport.
McCann Worldgroup offers marketing services in over 100 different countries. The company is a leader in its field.
Simon Oldfield, managing director of Vauxhall Motors commented, “As Vauxhall Motors and the car industry moves forward at a rapid pace, we need an agency partner beside us that will deliver campaign work from conception through to our retail network.”
He feels confident that McCann Velocity can boost the company’s presence in the market, claiming that they fully understood the need for an integrated approach.
