Free-to-use Online Auction Site Launched

DEALERTRADE Auction has launched online and will offer free services to dealers, fleets, finance companies and car supermarkets.

This site has come after the formed partnership between DealerTrade and Independent Motor Auctions. It will accommodate the whole of the car industry- not just franchised dealers.

The platform was created by 3 former Manheim employees, who have said that the free “online community” will hopefully save traders around 10% in fees for a vehicles price.

Sellers can upload the cars onto the site themselves, whilst the vehicle remains on their site. The bidder who wins will pay the seller directly.

Managing director of Independent Motor Auctions, Justin Lane said “We have invested a lot to develop the DealerTrade Auction site and it has been supported by 100 years of experience across the two companies. There are two auction sites in Leeds and Blackpool available for clients across the country, as well as the new auction service online.”

“We’re thrilled that so many businesses have agreed to use the service already. Until now, a lot of online auctions have only specialised in one area of the market. Now, automotive clients can use our free-to-sell auction service.”
