THE all-new 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo spec has been revealed this week by the German automaker.
The outward appearance of the new model is quite similar to the standard Cayenne, although some additional features do set it apart. The brand-new model sports double-row front light modules, 21-inch wheels, widened wheel arches with painted trims and a twin-tailpipe design. The vehicle also features a unique ‘active aero’, which includes a bespoke rear spoiler that is able to act as an airbrake at high speeds or can increase downforce.
Inside the new Turbo Cayenne, you can expect to find a 12.3-inch screen in the dashboard alongside an analogue tachometer which features 7-inch HD screens either side. You can also experience the best sound with the 710-watt Bose audio system, stay warm with the outboard-seat heating and get comfortable with the 18-way sports seats and integrated headrests.
Under the hood, the brand-new Porsche Cayenne Turbo boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V-8 which expels 550 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque. Compared to the previous model, the 2019 Cayenne Turbo has an increase of 30 horses and 14 pound-feet, which featured a 4.8-litre V-8. The V-8 merges with an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission. The result of the improved engine allows the new model to reach 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the last-generation Cayenne Turbo S. Even without the Sport Chrono Package, the motor can still reach 60mph in 3.9 seconds. The top speed that the vehicle can reach is 177mph.
The Cayenne Turbo also features a lighter chassis, which combines three-chamber air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management. The system allows the driver to choose from six drive heights based on the five driving modes which are gravel, mud, on-road, rocks and sand. Finally, the all-new model features staggered tires sized 285/40 front and 315/35 back, and a standard high-performance Porsche Surface Coated Brake.
Orders can be taken in December 2017 and the vehicle will arrive in 2018. The starting price has been revealed to be $124,600 plus a $1050 destination fee.
